Dr. Roger Ostrander

Roger Ostrander, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He treats musculoskeletal conditions resulting from injury, overuse and arthritis. Dr. Ostrander specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, which reduce post-operative recovery time and allow for an earlier return to work and play. Additionally, he holds a certification in articular cartilage implantation and repair in the knee.

Following his Fellowship under Drs. James Andrews and William Clancy, Dr. Ostrander was the first physician invited to Gulf Breeze, Florida, to develop the Andrews Institute, where he founded the Andrews Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center. He treats professional and collegiate athletes. He serves as team orthopaedist for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos AA baseball team, University of West Florida athletics and has formerly assisted Dr. Andrews with Auburn football. In addition to his practice, Dr. Ostrander serves as the Fellowship Director of the Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at the Andrews Institute and conducts research through the Andrews Research and Education Foundation.
